TRAVEL INSURANCE “Travel Insurance” is generally defined under state laws as “coverage for personal risks incidental to planned travel, including one or more of the following: 1. Interruption or cancellation of a trip or event; 2. Loss of baggage or personal effects; 3. Damage to accommodations or rental vehicles; or 4. Sickness, accident, disability, or death occurring during travel.” Once you have clicked through this link and shopped for plans, if you are not ready to purchase immediately, you'll need to start over with this link when you are ready. That will allow me to help you if you need to file a claim. |

INTERNATIONAL DRIVERS LICENSE When visiting another country, a state driver's license is valid while driving in Canada and Mexico. In other countries, you may need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) for foreign drivers. Use the Department of State's website to search for the country you will be visiting. On that country’s page, see the "travel and transportation" section. It will explain your destination’s driver’s license rules for visitors. If you have a U.S. driver's license, learn how you can get an IDP from the American Automobile Association (AAA). |
