Nearby is the fishing village of Bodega Bay where Hitchcock filmed the Movie "The Birds". Walk, kayak, or canoe along the Russian River with frolicking seals and hundreds of different birds, take an exhilarating hot air balloon ride, or horseback ride through the majestic hidden grove of giant Redwoods in the beautiful Armstrong State Redwood Reserve. Bodega Head and Jenner are great place to watch the whales during the fall or in the spring...
